Biometric grips are not just restricted to James Bond movies. Those could easily be implemented into firearms purchases after demonstrating some minimum level of proficiency following a waiting period in which a for real, no shit background check was done.

I'd support such measures - you could even have more than one "key" so a spouse or family member could also use the firearm. I'm also okay with waiting periods and background checks.

I am not a fan of a national level or state level registration for ownership. I would (and do) support local registration for concealed carry.

I would agree with a biometric grip. Whether judges would agree with constitutionality of that measure would be the question. Especially with the conservative twinge the supreme court currently has.
